Use the official region that matches the location of your job or medical practice. These examples follow Ontario’s Census Division and municipality definitions for this stream.
How the location is determined: For a job offer, Ontario uses the work location entered by the employer in the job offer. For a self-employed physician, Ontario uses the practice address shown in the physician’s OHIP billing-number registration. If the address or municipality is unclear, verify it against the official Ontario page before relying on the points.

Upload guidance: Documents should be clear and legible. Ontario lists common Office, PDF, text, and image formats, with a maximum of 10 MB per document; keep all pages of one document together where the size limit permits.

EOI scoring factors are separate from eligibility. O. Reg. 422/17 establishes TEER 0–3, TEER 4–5, and self-employed physician categories, with separate requirements for invitations, approved positions, work experience, education, language, licensing, and physician registration.
