How We Help Employers

Employee Support

How to offer a full-time job to support a skilled worker’s immigration to Canada, hire a foreign worker or offer a paid internship to a permanent resident or new citizen of Canada.

EMPLOYER SERVICES

CANADA’S LABOUR SHORTAGE

Skills shortages in some key Canadian industries are forcing companies to compete for the best talent. Canadian employers can hire foreign workers to meet their labour needs when they are not able to find Canadians or permanent residents to fill job vacancies.

At Cambridge Immigration we handle all the paper work and stress that accompanies hiring skilled foreign workers. We make the transition smooth not only for the employer but the employee as well.

We make a difference in our clients business by connecting them with the appropriate candidates who have the talent and ambitions to drive the business forward.

LMIA
WHAT IS A LMIA (LABOUR MARKET IMPACT ASSESSMENT)

An LMIA allows a Canadian Employer to fill a labor shortage and hire a skilled and qualified foreign worker. Employers who wish to hire foreign workers must get approval from Service Canada to hire foreign workers.

In order to get approval of an LMIA, an employer has to prove that they made genuine efforts to attract Canadians.  Many positions continue to sit vacant today, majority being skilled trades and lower-skilled occupational job categories in which Canadians are not lining up to work.

OUR EXPERTISE

We specialize in processing Labour Market Impact Assessment Applications, as well as work permit processing (both inside and outside Canada) for foreign workers.

We take the stress out of immigration by taking care of work permit extensions and assistance in restoration of status. Not only do we assist the employer in getting LMIA approvals, but recruit skilled foreign workers on behalf of the employer.

WORK PERMIT

Apart from the above we have a comprehensive range of services for employers. We keep track of all your foreign worker documentation processing. You or your Human resource department can rely on our expertise and we can keep track of all visa deadlines and dates.

Employers can contact us and one of our experts will be more than happy to assist you, we are just a call away.
